About the Role
Part-time 2 days a week, permanent position based in the Brisbane CBD

Utilise your exceptional Microsoft Office, organisational, and interpersonal skills to assist a team in a range of business support activities. This is a broad, busy, and interactive role where you will use your initiative and proactive nature to assist the team and Associations members with their needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide confidential and thorough administration to support the team
Monitor, maintain, and respond accordingly to shared email inboxes
Answer enquiries from members and support members to a high standard both in person and over the phone
Attend and help to manage the logistics of events
Manage face to face and online events and registrations, including room bookings, catering, confirming speakers and attendees
Assist in supporting committees including booking meetings, creating agendas, and taking minutes
Support the Coordinators including processing applications, preparing learning materials, confirming invitees, preparing certificates, maintaining databases, updating website content, booking venues and catering, setting up technology and training rooms, and preparing newsletters and mail outs
Ensure the online Library is organised and up to date
Assist with the annual member audit
Maintain positive relationships with members, staff, partners, and external vendors
Provide any additional support as needed by the team and management
Available to work later occasionally (1-2 times a month) to run Professional Development events. Time in Lieu will be provided for additional hours worked.
Skills & Experience required
Previous administration experience within a fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness in work
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Programs
A flexible and adaptable nature with a focus on supporting others
Proactive, takes initiative, and has a willingness to learn and grow
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Previous experience working with IT applications, especially the use of multimedia technologies for educational purposes
Comfortable using technology and able to troubleshoot if problems arise
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Ability to problem solve and think critically to create solutions
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with others
Ideally interested in education or running events
