We’ve recently received capital funding and are accelerating towards the next capital round and overseas expansion. So, we are a business in scale-up mode! We are an ISV Co-Sell ready partner with Microsoft and became the first Asia Pacific Microsoft partner to launch on Microsoft’s Commercial Marketplace in January this year. Along with two other significant partner channels in QLD and WA, and we are now looking for an experienced Channel Sales and Partnership Manager to join us!
As our Channel Sales and Partnership Manager , you will hold the overall responsibility for executing the go-to-market strategy, business development and all sales operations for our partnerships and work hand in hand with the sales and customer success teams.
This is a unique opportunity to grow SurePact and with the support of our partner teams your initial challenge will be to convert 10 new enterprise clients each year.
You will partner with our Founder/CEO and your peers in Product, Technology and Customer Success, to understand SurePact’s vision and ensure that is translated in your sales partnership processes.
With Microsoft as an official partner, and with IP Co-sell Ready and Commercial Marketplace Transact at your disposal, you will have an unparalleled interface with the global Microsoft marketing and growth teams. With your solution focused mindset, you’ll leverage this unique partnership and our existing client
relationships to ensure rapid and effective scalability.
The Channel Sales and Partnership Manager will report directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day relationship management of the Microsoft channel partner. Act as a liaison between SurePact and Microsoft
Build, maintain, and manage relationships with current WA and QLD channel partners
Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in the assigned partner accounts
Sell through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources
Proactively identify, develop and drive longer-term strategies and initiatives that will deliver rapid business growth regionally in conjunction with channel partners
Work cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to develop go-to-market strategies and execution
Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts
Manage direct/channel conflict by fostering excellent communication between the channel and direct teams
Ensures partner compliance with Channel Partner programs and agreements
Work with marketing to design and execute programs and campaigns focussed on the channel
Stays abreast of competitive products, technologies and industry trends
Skills & Experience required
5+ years of experience evangelizing enterprise technology, with a particular focus on SaaS
Extensive experience in channel relationship management, particularly with large complex organisations
Consistent track record of over-achievement; net new logo accomplishments; and keen understanding of how to leverage channel partnerships
Experience building effective sales enablement programmes
Evidence of ‘team sales’ and the ability to use internal resources, partners, and team members to be successful
Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners
Driven, highly motivated and results driven
Ideally, you’ll have worked in a tech start-up environment or possibly somewhere that was scaling or had scaled. Pre series A would be beneficial but understanding the dynamics of a Founder led business is vitally important
