Customer Success Manager

About the Role

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing customer portfolios and working closely with customers to ensure they understand how to use the software and and are happy with the results

  • Renewing subscriptions and identifying revenue expansion opportunities

  • Growing relationships with key decision makers and sponsors

  • Undertake the complete onboarding process and ongoing training of customers

  • Assist with account retention and growth

  • Regular client business meetings and reviews 

  • Conducting product demonstrations

  • Creating tutorials and training materials

  • Managing an average of 10 to 15 clients at one time

  • Dealing with client calls and assisting however necessary

Skills & Experience required

  • 3+ years in a customer success or account management role in a SaaS environment

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer focused role for a software vendor would be highly regarded

  • Previous experience demonstrating and training customers, both in person and online

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • A high level of attention to detail

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to build positive relationships with others 

  • Ability to manage the lifecycle of clients and assist them accordingly 

  • Problem solving skills with the ability to create win/win solutions

  • Takes initiative and is naturally proactive 

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable

  • Be highly organised, reliable and willing to continuously learn and grow

  • Proven ability to manage own time, workload, and motivation

  • Great time management with the capacity to multitask and prioritise

  • Ability to be patient and understanding

  • Capable of learning quickly and an interest in teaching others

  • Autonomous and enjoys working independently 

  • Previous experience within local government would be advantageous
