About the role
This is a newly created opportunity that will see you lead the development of evidence-based practice and research to support schools in leading high quality outcomes for students.
Duties and Responsibilities
Evaluate and develop blended professional learning practices and resources (online modules, webinars, in person events)
Work collaboratively to develop programs and resources to support schools in improving educational data literacy
Evaluate educational research and provide overviews of key research to guide the development of programs
Assist in the development of programs in areas such as school-based leadership, teacher growth and development and high impact teaching strategies
Liaise and consult with leadership teams and teachers to support schools in developing teacher professional learning
Build and cultivate positive and professional working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Skills and Experience required
You have a strong teaching background (ideally you will come from a middle manager level within the education sector)
You have project management experience that includes background research, scope-and-sequence processes, reporting and evaluation
Experience in developing blended professional learning practices (adult learning) and resources
You have highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate engaging relationships across a range of stakeholders
You thrive on working in collaboration with others and enjoy in-depth conversations
You possess qualities that include being adaptable, collaborative and open to change
Though not at all essential, a maths or science background would be well regarded
Demonstrated educational research capabilities
