About the Role
Manage all learning and development initiatives for this growing not-for-profit organisation, including developing strategy, implementation of systems, working with service delivery managers to assess capability gaps and developing and delivering online and offline learning content. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with a supportive and knowledgeable group of senior leaders to advance key learning and development priorities across the organisation. This role currently has one direct report, though there is potential for this to grow in the next twelve months.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an organisational development strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy and key organisational priorities

  • Lead implementation of the Learning Management System, working with key stakeholders to roll out off the shelf and customised learning modules

  • Identify key capability gaps required to build the capability and culture of staff to deliver the organisation's mission and strategic priorities

  • Regularly review staff development and curriculum needs in collaboration with service delivery managers

  • Evaluate online and offline learning initiatives to assess impact and effectiveness

  • Other relevant duties as required by the CEO or to assist the senior leadership team

Skills & Experience required

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources, organisational development, psychology, community services or social work

  • Proven experience in developing, managing and delivering online and offline organisational learning and development programs and initiatives

  • Experience in content creation with an understanding of best practice adult learning methodologies

  • Ability to lead projects and deliver positive outcomes

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, you will be required to engage with managers and front line staff at all levels of the business
