Marketing Operations Manager

About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like to develop within a business and eventually become a part of their Leadership Team and their future vision for growth. Use your experience and skillset to assist this expanding business and oversee the Operations and more specifically the warehouse, design, and procurement teams.  
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive supplier relationships and procurements of products

  • Run supplier audits and reviews 

  • Improve workflow and processes to produce better results 

  • Initiate and implement cost saving exercises to help drive down costs 

  • Manage and oversee Warehouse, Design, and Procurement teams

  • Work closely with the Leadership team on business improvements 

  • Be the point of escalation for more difficult situations

  • Assist with HR processes such as leave requirements and sick leave for teams

  • Oversee the office and any requirements needed for the building

  • Coaching teams to ensure the best results are achieved 

  • Ensure all employees adhere to safety regulations and training

Skills & Experience required

  • Previous experience in either printing, apparel, or branded products

  • Experience in procurement and it's processes

  • Proactive, takes initiative and is hands on

  • Operational background is essential

  • Understanding products, prices, and dealing with suppliers

  • Personable with a high emotional intelligence 

  • Ability to manage multiple teams, get results, and have hard conversations with compassion

  • Friendly and analytical

  • Handles pressure well and is level headed

  • Organised and able to deal with multiple projects and tasks at the same time

  • Agile, adaptable, and flexible

  • Confident and has a can-do attitude 

  • Strong verbal and written communication
