About the Role
Be part of an award-winning organisation. Your role would be responsible for end to end payroll and the administration of commissions for the sales team. 
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll

  • Ensure compliance of payroll with statutory and legislative requirements

  • Prepare, reconcile, and balance payroll at end of month and end of year

  • Contributing to process, maintenance, and system improvement of the payroll system

  • Identify, research, and reconcile any discrepancies

  • Create reports for Executive team 

  • Provide reporting and updates to Department Managers

  • Help improve the current processes through more efficiency and automation

  • Provide explanations and answer questions from sales team members

  • Calculate, adjust, and process sales commissions and bonuses

  • Input changes to commission plans and percentages 

  • Responsible for collection and analysis of sales data to support commission structure adjustment

Skills & Experience required

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience with computerised payroll 

  • Knowledge of taxation, awards, and legislation relating to payroll

  • Previous experience in commissions and bonus schemes would be highly regarded

  • Confidence in interpreting and advising on Awards (industry and internal)

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Demonstrated skills in developing positive relationships with all levels of a business and external clients 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication

  • Proactive attitude and someone who is a self-starter

  • Ability to prioritise, delegate, and multitask

  • Demonstrate a positive and helpful attitude

  • A high degree of attention to detail

  • Ability to build strong working relationships with your team and overall a team player

  • Adaptable and flexible

  • Ability to prioritise, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

  • Previous experience in construction or real estate would be highly regarded but not essential

  • Experience with SATSOFT, IFS and HR3 would be highly regarded
