About the Role
Utilise your existing payroll and finance experience to support the Finance Team. You will be the link between the college and external payroll consultant,  providing support with payroll tasks and ensuring that everything runs smoothly and correctly before payroll. To be successful you will need to be confident, adaptable, and take initiative. This is a 3 month, part-time contract working approximately 15 - 20 hours per week.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Checking and responding to enquiries related to super, salary sacrifice, annual leave etc. 

  • Adding in and calculating information into spreadsheets

  • Reviewing spreadsheets to ensure they're correct

  • Preparing payroll to be processed

  • Additional administration as needed

Skills & Experience required

  • An understanding of payroll and finance 

  • Intermediate skills in Excel and experience with inputting data and formulas into spreadsheets

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish open communication with others 

  • Proactive, can work autonomously, and takes initiative

  • Strong problem solving skills 

  • High attention to detail

  • Essential to already have or be able to obtain a blue card
