Portfolio Administration Officer

About the role
Reporting to a Manager who is known for her nurturing style - you will be given autonomy but will also be well supported and encouraged.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the team of Portfolio Managers (across NSW, Victoria as well as Qld) to complete all administration tasks relating to new and existing loans - some of the duties include - processing of progress claims, set up and recording of new loan accounts, administration of discharged loans, processing and collating monthly statements and invoices and liaising with borrowers regarding insurance information

  • Provide a range of administration support to the Head of Lending

  • Ensure loan accounting processes are accurately processed in line with the relevant processes and systems in place

  • Work closely with the Lending Operations team to ensure all tasks are followed according to the Service Level Agreements in place

Skills and experience required

  • This role will best suit someone who has previous experience in property, banking or financial services

  • The work that you do is always of a high standard, 'attention to detail' is second nature to you

  • You have an innate ability to build rapport with people and you genuinely enjoy doing so

  • A team player attitude who enjoys working with a wide range of people and enjoys supporting and helping others.

  • The ability to work independently, be self driven and motivated

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - you can liaise with a range of stakeholders and draft a well written email

  • You can manage your time well and can cope well when things happen and priorities change
