Recently became the first Asia Pacific Microsoft ISV partner to launch on Microsoft’s Commercial Marketplace, and they are now looking for an experienced Sales Director to join the team.
As Sales Director, you will be a strategic business executive with in-depth experience leading a digitally focused and innovative company. You will hold the overall responsibility for executing the go-to-market strategy and doubling our revenue in the first year. You will partner with our Founder/CEO and your peers in Product, Technology and Customer Success, to understand SurePact’s vision and ensure that is translated in your sales processes.
With Microsoft as an official partner, and with IP Co-sell Ready and Commercial Marketplace Transact at your disposal, you will have an unparalleled interface with the global Microsoft development and product teams. With your solution focused mindset, you’ll leverage this unique partnership and our existing client relationships to ensure rapid and effective scalability.
The Sales Director position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
What You’ll Need To Do:
Ultimate accountability for driving revenue growth, by leveraging and aligning all revenue-generating streams: Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience and Technology
Develop growth strategies with the executive team and board of directors and monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting, as necessary
Present to key decision makers (Infrastructure, construction, not-for-profit, technology, finance, procurement) within brands in order to gain traction and deliver business growth into existing and new markets
Grow industry knowledge through evangelism, gain visibility through attending and presenting at industry events, professionally representing the company to the industry
Recruit, retain and develop a high-performance mar-tech enterprise sales team
Develop and implement robust sales management processes – pipeline, account planning, and proposals
Identify and qualify prospective clients both locally and internationally, in order to generate new leads and expansion into new marketplaces.
Define and establish effective sales approach, methods, activities, benchmarks and expectations that will ensure appropriate and accurate pipeline, close rate, controlled sales cycle and performance measurements
Drive a “lean start up” style environment of constant experimentation, learning and collaboration
Your Ideal Profile:
5+ years of Enterprise sales and proven experience selling SaaS solutions is a must
10+ years in a sales leadership role over-achieving quotas and handling all revenue generating processes
Considerable experience selling to Government, Construction and Infrastructure organisations with strong, existing relationships.
An understanding of how to navigate small, medium and larger organisations, and adapt your sales process accordingly
A consistent track record in accelerating business growth and profit expansion, particularly within a high growth, capital heavy environment
Extensive experience in building, managing and leading digital B2B sales, partnerships and channel teams
A highly analytical decision maker with extensive experience driving integration between revenue generating functions, sales, marketing, business development and revenue management

Ideally, you’ll have worked in a tech start-up environment or possibly somewhere that was scaling or had scaled. Pre series A would be beneficial but understanding the dynamics of a Founder led business is vitally important
