Senior Learning and Development Officer

About the Role
Use your passion and enthusiasm for learning and development in this newly created position which will see you engaging with all levels of the organisation to design, deliver, evaluate and improve blended learning programs and initiatives with impact. Reporting directly to the Manager Learning and Development, you will work closely with a growing team to deliver the L&D framework whilst contributing your own ideas to add value and ensure best practice. 

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of staff learning and development curriculum and relevant learning pathways
  • Conduct training needs analysis, working with key internal stakeholders to identify role specific or organisational training needs
  • Design, deliver and promote training programs which include face to face workshops, webinars, one on one sessions and LMS modules
  • Support the implementation, content development and ongoing management of the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Evaluate and analyse online and offline learning initiatives to assess their impact and effectiveness, providing recommendations for ongoing and continuous improvement
  • Provide guidance and advice to the internal stakeholders in relation to all L&D matters
Skills, Experience & Attributes Required 
  • You will be an experience L&D professional, with varied experience in the design and delivery of blended learning programs and initiatives
  • Experience in content design for online and offline delivery - with an understanding of best practice adult learning methodologies
  • Highly developed facilitation skills, coupled with evaluation, analysis, and the ability to give and receive feedback appropriately
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills which allow you to build relationships with a wide variety of people across the business
  • A positive attitude and growth mindset, someone who is motivated to learn new things and grow with the organisation
  • Connection to the organisational values / purpose and a genuine interest in working in the not for profit sector
