Schadd acquired a diverse range of work experience and skills in his early working years before earning an opportunity to commence his apprenticeship in the Electrical industry. He went on to achieve his Electrical Fitter-Mechanic Trade qualification at the tender age of 20.

Most of the next decade was spent working in a variety of roles within the service, repair and maintenance sectors of the Electrical Industry in and around Brisbane.

He then took a detour and went into business with a partner, importing and wholesaling commercial furniture components. The exit from that business took him back into the electrical industry, then onto Customer Service, Sales and Account Management roles with multi-national organisations in Fire Safety Systems, Hygiene and Sanitation programs, and Food safety and training.

Fast forward to 2004 and the opportunity arrived to start Pure Source Recruitment.

Thesedays, Schadd oversees the finance and operations side of PSR, as well as playing a part in training new staff to ensure that they receive the onboarding necessary to be successful in the Recruitment industry.
